Tools You Need to Succeed as a ServiceMaster Restore Franchisee

While some of our franchisees are seasoned entrepreneurs, many are first-time business owners. It’s natural that you might be overwhelmed by your new role, especially if you’re new to the restoration industry. ServiceMaster Restore has developed a thorough franchise training program that gives you one less thing to worry about! Between online modules and two weeks of in-person training at our Memphis facility, you’ll learn everything you need to operate a ServiceMaster Restore franchise.

After completing a week of pre-academy work, you’ll attend our ServiceMaster Restore Academy in Memphis. During this hands-on franchise training, you’ll learn the fundamentals of running a business –including sales, marketing, accounting, and hiring. You’ll also receive training on water and fire damage restoration, mold remediation, packout best practices, contents, and structural cleaning. Although you likely won’t spend much time in the field, it’s important that you have a complete understanding of the services we provide.

Beyond attending Academy and completing your courses, you’ll be required to complete training on our franchise operating system and other software products that are used as part of the day-to-day operations of your business. You will also need to complete the IICRC certifications we require. The exact time your training will take is up to you, but you should be prepared to invest a significant amount of time into it.

After You’ve Opened Your Franchise

Our commitment to you doesn’t end once you’ve opened your franchise. We invest in our franchisees’ success by investing in resources and franchise support that help you stay on the cutting edge. All ServiceMaster Restore franchisees have access to:
