Meet the ServiceMaster Restore Executive Team

John Tovar

John Tovar

President
Mr. Tovar has served as president of ServiceMaster Restore since December 2020. He concurrently serves as Vice President of ServiceMaster Manager. Previously, he worked as President of AmeriSpec and Furniture Medic, as well as Vice President of Operations and New Business for Ace Hardware Corporation and Vice President of Merchandising for GameStop Corporation. Mr. Tovar serves in his present capacities in Atlanta.
Jim Boccher

Chief Development Officer
Mr. Boccher has been our Chief Development Officer since July 2021, having previously served as President, Commercial Restoration at ServiceMaster Restore. Prior to joining our team. Mr. Boccher served in various capacities at DSI Holdings, Inc., including President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. As a member of our franchisee family, he has operated a number of ServiceMaster Restore franchises in Illinois. Mr. Boccher serves in his present capacities in Memphis.
Kim Brooks

Kim Brooks

Sr. Vice President of Operations
Mr. Brooks is our Sr. Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining ServiceMaster Brands in March of 2021, he was employed with ServiceMaster DSI and was one of its founding partners. Mr. Brooks served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DSI from 2013 - 2018. During this time ServiceMaster DSI was the largest revenue producing and fastest growing franchise in the ServiceMaster Network. Before his stint as President and CEO, Mr. Brooks spent significant time in both a Sales and Operational capacity. Mr. Brooks operates today from his home market of Kansas City.
Charles Kowanetz

Director of Franchise Development
Charles Kowanetz has 10 years of experience as a franchise development executive with a skill set for developing franchise sales systems, building high performing sales teams, managing departmental P&L’s, and making data driven decisions. Before joining ServiceMaster Brands, Charles led the expansion of the My Eyelab franchise, averaging 70 percent year over year unit count growth from 2019-2023. He’s also held executive leadership roles at Retro fitness and the United Franchise Group.

With his years of franchise development experience coupled with his role as a board member of the Titus Center of Franchising at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Kowanetz has contributed to many panel appearances, speaking engagements, and led franchise sales workshops. Also, as a proud member of his community, Charles and his wife Nicole are Chairs for Vita Nova, a philanthropy aimed to end youth homelessness in Palm Beach County.

Michael Ganda has over 22 years of marketing experience with a concentration on marketing strategy and differentiation.

Michael has worked with clients across the globe and across industries. From the first commodities dealer in China and the oldest US cotton company to startup concepts and non-profit organizations, Michael has always excelled in helping companies separate themselves in the market. with nearly a decade of restoration industry experience, Michael understands the complex nature of the restoration industry and franchise network support. Michael is instrumental to the success of the Restore Marketing Team and ensuring the efforts of the team drive revenue and achieve effective ROl.
Leslie Boley

Leslie Boley

National Franchise Development Manager
Ms. Boley has served as the national franchise development manager for ServiceMaster Restore since July 2022. In her role, she diligently brings conversions and new individual prospects into our network.

Ms. Boley has more than eight years of experience in disaster response, specializing in leading and developing sales teams, national sales, and catastrophe response. Prior to joining our team, she worked as a national business development manager at BlueSky Restoration Contractors. She also spent five years in sales and account management with ServiceMaster DSI, the largest operator of ServiceMaster Restore and ServiceMaster Recovery Management businesses in the United States. Ms. Boley is a board member of the Greater Kansas City YMCA and a member of the YMCA Challenger Program for children and young adults with special needs. She serves in her present capacity in Kansas City, Missouri.
